After much market research and a period of training and guidance from the Suffolk Digital Cinema Network, the Hundon Community Cinema had its inaugural showing in March 2018.

We use equipment hired from the Suffolk Digital Cinema Network, although, thanks to a generous grant from the Broxted Trust, we now have our own electronic screen, which is available for the use of other village organisations under our supervision. In the future we hope to be able to fund our own, permanently-installed system.

At the moment, we show films on the last Friday of each month, from October to March, although we may extend the season if there is enough demand.

UPDATE: The next screening is likely to be in January 2020 and we urgently need volunteers to help collect, set up and return the equipment for this and any future screenings - all offers of help will be gratefully received.

Our ticket prices are £3.00 per person regardless of age.

Doors open at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start.

The licensed Village Hall  bar is available before the show, at the interval, and for a short while after the film. Also available are sweets, chocolates, crisps, popcorn etc.

We are not a club and attendance at any of our film shows is open to all. We are pleased to see new faces and will warmly welcome all to what is a social event and not just a film show.

Dates and titles are advertised on this site, in the 'Hundon Herald' and on the Village Facebook Page
